A Little About Scoliosis Therapy
Scoliosis Therapy was started in 2017 as a private cash-based Physical Therapy clinic in San Antonio, Texas, specializing in the treatment of atypical spinal curvatures utilizing Schroth based techniques. When her own daughter was diagnosed with scoliosis, Cori found limited conservative treatment options in the area, so she became the first Physical Therapist in San Antonio to be trained and certified by the Scroth-Barcelona Institute in the BSPTS Concept by Rigo (formerly BSPTS Schroth) for treatment of scoliosis and kyphosis. Her goal was to help her daughter and others with atypical spinal curvatures who are seeking therapeutic treatment options. She has since expanded her practice to include the use of SEAS techniques and newer 3D advanced bracing designs. Upon relocating to Auburn, Alabama in summer of 2023, Cori opened a new home-based private clinic. Cori continues to advocate for patients with atypical spinal curvatures and is pursuing research in scoliosis treatment and improving access to training so more people can benefit from conservative treatment interventions.
